The Movement Evolved Story
This is the story of how Movement Evolved came to be. It all started back in January 2016 when I had a pretty life-changing motorcycle accident. It was one of those cold, damp winter mornings, and as I was taking a turn, I hit an oil patch. The next thing I knew, I was sliding down the road. Not a great start to the day!
After waking up from surgery, the doctors told me I was just 3mm away from being paralyzed. That was the first of six surgeries—fixing my broken arm with pins and plates, and then rods in my spine, which came out eight months later. As you can imagine, it was a tough journey.
Faced with the reality of my injuries, I had a choice: go down the usual recovery path or take control of my own healing. I chose to take control. So, I maxed out my credit card on flights and courses, and set off on a journey to learn how to fix myself.
I started with Functional Patterns, an innovative approach that completely flipped the science of biomechanics on its head. It’s all about understanding human movement through physics and engineering principles. It was eye-opening and just what I needed.
But I knew there was more to learn. I sought out Charles, the most successful Olympic coach in history, who has a unique blend of Exercise Physiology, Strength & Conditioning and Chinese Medicine. His insights were invaluable, and provided a broad framework to build upon. His unique perspective helped provide answers on a deep level. As Charles used to say, "this is where art meets science".
At Movement Evolved, we’re all about continuous growth and transformation. So, whether you're looking to improve your health or boost your performance, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Join us on this journey, and let's evolve together!
My journey sought answers, I found those who were answering weren't waiting around for the industry to catch up...

Charles Poliquin (Olympic Strength Coach): World class coach, totalling many medals on the olympic stage. He had a unique brain, he spoke and would read literature in many different languages to enable himself to marry together ancient wisdom with modern science.
Naudi Aguilar (Functional Patterns): Functional Patterns has applied the teachings of science and achieved remarkable things. The problem is, its in a way that defies the norm. Using the FP method, reversing scoliosis, treating ataxic GAIT and hypermobility have become effective treatments. Not band aid solutions.
Tomas Myers (Anatomy Trains): Providing new ways to consider the role of fascia within human motion. Building on the works of leaders in the realms of physics, applying like the mind of engineer to display the mechanics of human locomotion.
Wim Hof (The Iceman): Proving to the world that the human can do more than what we think. Using the power of cold exposure and breathing, healing on new levels has been possible.
Jack Kruse (Neurosurgeon): Essentially a physicist trained as a Neurosurgeon. With a strong enough need to know "why", JK's journey of discovery has opened a new realm of discovery within health.
Robert O Becker (Surgeon): Was very far ahead of his time & pioneered regenerative healing techniques. Best known for his work in biological electricity and regeneration.
Gerald Pollack (Scientist): The fourth phase of water, also known as exclusion zone (EZ) water or structured water, playing a crucial role within cellular function & efficiency.
Doris Loh (Melatonin Researcher): Changing our understanding of melatonin. An ancient molecule that can be traced to the origins of life and her work is changing our understanding of its role, acting as a potent conductor of the orchestra and doubles as antioxidant that we should have in abundance.
Jim Stephenson (Vitamin D Researcher): Carrying the flag for the importance of getting Vitamin-D from sunlight. Jim is campaigning to help us understand why Vit D supplements are rat poison.
Morley Robbins (Magnesium Researcher): Has highlighted the nature of our environment causing dysfunction at the cellular level. Due to an imbalanced nutrient intake, we force our body to function at an altered state, causing mitochondrial dysfunction.
Combining all these incredible teachings with principles of chiropractic and holistic health, Movement Evolved was born. Our mission? To help people achieve their best health and performance through innovative and science-backed methods.
